Also on Friday June 13, from 2 – 5 p.m., please join us for the annual meeting of the Omicron Deuteron Charge of the Theta Delta Chi Fraternity, Inc., in the Drake Room of the Hanover Inn. All alumni are welcome. Any alumnus who has ever donated to the house corporation and has signed the official register is an incorporator of the corporation and can vote at the annual meeting.
The Drake Room is named after J. Frank “Ducky” Drake, Omie Deut Class of 1902, former Chairman of the Gulf Oil Corporation, long-time officer and director of the House Corporation, and co-honoree of our Drake-Winship Scholarship, which is funded by the House Corporation, administered by the College, and awarded annually to one or more Omie Deut undergraduates. Last year’s winner was John “Jack” Boger ’13, who is now an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
The story of Theta Delt at Dartmouth is one of undergraduate fellowship and alumni loyalty. The bonds of friendship forged as undergraduate brothers often last a lifetime. Alumni loyalty reaches back across the classes and generations to support the current brothers in the hallowed halls of the Lodge at 11 West Wheelock Street.
For the alumni of "Omie Deut", we hope that our site will renew your ties to your brothers and the undergraduate charge. We need your help to maintain the Lodge for the next generation of Dartmouth students! For the undergraduates, we hope that the site will teach you more about the history of the charge and lead you to become active alumni. We offer to you the words of Al Stowe, long-time president of the House Corporation and Social Chairman-for-Life of the legendary Theta Delt Class of 1960: "Undergraduates are just alumni in training."
So again, we're glad you're here. Please wander the site and make yourself at home. If you have any suggestions about how we can make TDXDartmouth.org more valuable, please Contact Us. We'd like to hear from you.
In the bonds,
Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire
